The Temple of Hephaestus (Ναός του Ηφαίστου), also known as the Hephaisteion or earlier as the Theseion, is the ancient temple located in the Ancient Agora of Athens. This is the one of the best preserved temples. Its construction was started in 449 BC and completed in 415 BC.
